Let's Have Fun

School is about learning. And learning should ALWAYS be fun: extracting the truly amazing, marvelous, and, yes, fun elements of all that we are learning and teaching. When teachers use activities that make learning engaging and fun, learners are more willing to participate and take risks. Having fun while learning also helps learners retain information better, because the process is enjoyable and memorable. Many younger kids do find great joy in school and learning. How do we foster that spirit, capture that enthusiasm, and propel it forth into their adolescent, teen, and adult years?
