WCED Learning Management System (LMS)

Exam practice for learners in the FET Phase

A student sits at a table at home, studying by writing in a notebook beside an open laptop and a cup, with a kitchen in the background.

So, who can access the WCED LMS?

Because the LMS is a closed trackable system, it is only accessible to registered WCED teachers and specific learners in the Western Cape, for now. “Specific learners” includes Grade 12 learners of the current Year and Grade 10 BOT learners of the current year.

LMS access is a two-part process:

  • Firstly, users are registered on the LMS
  • Secondly, they must be enrolled for the courses that are relevant to their subject choices.

This enables the trackable functionality of the LMS.

Why make use of the LMS for Grade 12 revision?

Courses offered on the LMS

Gr. 12 Question and Answer Series

The content on the LMS:

  1. Is curated under 17 content subjects.
  2. Is to be used for consolidation and revision.
  3. Is specific to individuals who are registered for that subject.
  4. May include micro-learning examples in some subjects.
